The assistant is given your real trades — the symbols, the times, the R:R, the strategy you tagged and the notes you wrote — before it answers. Ask which setup is actually profitable and it counts, rather than guessing from the name of the strategy.

Questions worth asking it

What do my losing trades have in common? Which strategy has the best expectancy once commission is included? Am I cutting winners early? Has my drawdown pattern changed since last quarter? Each of these is answerable from the record; none of them are answerable from memory.

It reviews a strategy against its own results

Point the assistant at one strategy and it reads only the trades tagged with it, including the confluence answers you gave when you applied it. That is how you find out whether the condition you insist on actually correlates with your winners.

Your trades are not training data

Your history is sent to the model to answer your question and for nothing else. It is not used to train models, and it is never shared with other users. This is written into the privacy policy, not just into the marketing.

What makes this different from asking ChatGPT about trading?
A general chatbot has no access to your trades, so it can only return generic advice. BetterTradeJourney's assistant is given your imported MetaTrader 5 history first, so it answers questions about your actual results — which setup is profitable, when you lose, whether you cut winners early.
Does the AI place trades for me?
No. It reads and analyses your completed trade history. It has no connection to your broker and cannot open, close or modify a position.
Is my trading data used to train AI models?
No. Your trades are sent to the model only to generate the answer you asked for. They are not used for training and are never shared with other users.
How many questions can I ask?
Essential includes 120 AI messages a month, Pro 600, and Ultra 1,200. The allowance resets on the first of each month, and the number you have left is shown in the assistant.
Does the assistant work if I have not journaled anything?
It works from imported trades alone, but it gets substantially more useful once trades carry strategies, tags and notes — those are what let it answer 'why', not only 'what'.
Is there a mobile app?
BetterTradeJourney runs in the browser and works on a phone, so there is nothing to install. You upload an MT5 report from a desktop terminal and review the journal and analytics anywhere.
